REGISTER NOW FOR THE MEN'S RETREAT

The men's retreat at Camp Bountiful is April 11-13. That's just a couple of weeks away so it's time to register. To register, or receive more information about the retreat, contact the mission center office.

 
EASTER WEEK SERVICES

The Columbus Community of Christ is having a Maundy-Thursday service and the Lancaster Community of Christ is having a Good Friday service at 7 pm. All are invited to attend.

SENIOR HIGH RETREAT POSTPONED

Due to the weather this weekend, the Senior High Retreat at Camp Bountiful, originally scheduled for March 7-9, 2008, has been postponed to the following weekend.

The Junior High and Senior High Retreats will be held the same weekend at Camp Bountiful, March 14-16. You do not have to register again for the Senior High Retreat.

 
OFFICE CLOSED FOR CHRISTMAS

The Western Ohio Mission Center office will be closed Christmas week and open again January 2, 2008.

CAMP BOUNTIFUL WORK DAY - October 13

This Saturday is a work day at Camp Bountiful and there is much to be done. Come help out! For details, contact Craig at the WOMC office.

 
WOMC CONFERENCE

The Western Ohio Mission Center Conference is September 29-30 at the Grove City Community of Christ. The guest minister is Apostle Ron Harmon. The schedule and other information is here.

 

Theme: “Real World, Real Peace: Sharing the Peace of Jesus Christ.” Each congregation is invited to send at least one representative. Five keynote speakers, 25 workshops with a priesthood and discipleship focus, children’s program, and a new youth track. See June to October Heralds for details. CALLED TO SERVE AT HISTORIC SITES

Help share our sacred story at Community of Christ historic sites. Volunteer positions are available in Kirtland, Ohio; Nauvoo, Illinois; Lamoni, Iowa; and Independence, Missouri. Training, housing, and utilities are provided. Serve from two weeks to two years. For more information, go to www.CofChrist.org/volunteers/ .

 
OFFICES CLOSED FOR WORLD CONFERENCE

The WOMC offices will be closed March 22-April 2 due to World Conference in Independence Missouri. There are additional meetings and trips before after conference, so call ahead before coming by the office to make sure the person you are looking for will be there.
