SPECIAL CHRISTMAS SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES
ST MARYS - Dec 17
The St. Mary's congregation will have a service of Christmas sharing on Wednesday evening, Dec 17. The evening will begin with a carry-in dinner at 6:30 PM. Bring some food and join us.
SOLID ROCK - Dec 20
Solid Rock Cafe will be at Westerville, Saturday, Dec 20 from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. All 7th thru 12th graders are well come.
COLUMBUS CANDLELIGHT - Dec 21
Columbus Community of Christ will be holding its annual Christmas Candlelight Service at 7:00PM, Sunday evening, Dec 21. Communion will be served. There will be a light reception following the service. All are invited to attend. The church is located at the corner of Tompkins and Medary.
GROVE CITY - Dec 24
The Grove City congregation will have a special Christmas eve service at 8 PM on December 24.
YA AT WESTERVILLE
Every first Friday Night of the month, Westerville is having a get together for Young Adults with a movie, pizza, beverage, and snacks. Bring your friends, beverage, and money for pizza.

OPEN HOUSE - Dec 14
The NE Field Bishop and mission center president will be hosting an open house at the mission center office this Sunday afternoon, December 14 from 4-6 pm. Everyone in the mission center is invited to drop in for Christmas goodies, to visit, and to see the office.

The Loveland Community of Christ is having Soup 'N Slides this Saturday from 6-8 PM. The meal will be at 6 PM. The worship that follows will include "The Creation," a slide worship presented by the mission center president. Based on a sermon in the black southern tradition, the words convey the story of creation from Genesis 1. Photos and music complement the message. All are welcome.
WORTHINGTON BLESSING OF CHILDREN - Dec 14
The Worthington Community of Christ will share in the sacrament of the Blessing of Children at the morning worship this Sunday, Dec 14. The mission center president will be preaching. All are invited to come to this special service.
TOLEDO EVANGELIST'S BLESSING - Dec 14
The Toldedo congregation will be having a "congregational blessing" at the Sunday morning service. Evangelists Grace Proffitt and Al Stretch will be providing special ministry at this service. All are welcome.

“Making Your Money Serve You” - January 24
This seminar for young adults will be at the Grove City Community of Christ on Saturday, January 24th from 10:30 am -3:30 pm.
There is no cost and lunch is on your own.
The workshop will be conducted by Sally from the Reynoldsburg congregation.
Many people end up as servants of their financial decisions. It should be the other way around. Young adults in all stages will benefit from this practical, biblical workshop on personal finance. Topics include:
Using a budget;
When to borrow;
How to save;
Avoiding being overcharged; and
Spending wisely.
Registration deadline is January 18th.

Sandee Gamet from world church headquarters will be doing a special training session for "Listening Circle" facilitators on April 24. Put this on your calendars. More information will follow later.

Seventy Loretha Smith and the mission center president will be in Toledo Sunday morning. Toledo will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of their beginnings as a congregation. All are welcome at this service.
